Prior to registration, the rules of the association must be drafted. All founder members must agree on the rules. According to the Associations Act, the rules must contain the following:

• Name
• Place of Operation
• Objective and Forms of Operation
• Membership Fee
• Board of Directors and Auditors
• Financial Year
• Meetings of the Association
• Method of Calling Meetings
