Each building has rules and regulations which govern issues relating to daily life. The rules commonly contain information on, for example, when the front door is locked, when and where it is possible to dust carpets, and the hours of the day when loud noises should be avoided. The rules and regulations may also contain instructions on how pets should be kept under control. It may be prohibited to drive or wash your car in the courtyard area.

Familiarise yourself with the rules and regulations of your building, which can usually be found in the hallway near the front door.
