Health Problems

Health centres are open on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.for urgent treatment required by Vantaa citizens. Further information on health centre reception is available on the City of Vantaa website in Finnish, Swedish and English.

Peijas Hospital Emergency Clinic 

The emergency clinic at Peijas Hospital is for those with sudden and acute illnesses or requiring immediate treatment.

Youth concerns 

The Vantaa Emergency Youth Shelter is intended for young people aged 12-19 in need of help. Calls can be made to the shelter at any time. Young people in need can come to the shelter after 5 p.m. and stay until 10 a.m. the next day. Staying overnight at the shelter is completely safe. It is not possible to live permanently at the shelter.

Services available at Monika - Multicultural Women’s Association service point in Vantaa are intended for immigrant women and girls who have experienced violence from family members and intimate partners. The service is available in many languages.
