Maailman musiikin keskus

The Global Music Centre is a Finnish music institute. Its tasks are to collect and spread information on the different musics of the world in many different ways. The centre engages in research, organises musical events, produces recordings and other publications and provides world-wide information services.

The Global Music Centre collects information about immigrant musicians and bands in Finland who perform or teach the music of their own culture. The centre also has a large collection of books, magazines, press cuttings and recordings from all continents.
