EU/EEA nationals (EU/ETA-kansalaiset)
Citizens from EU/EEA countries residing permanently in Helsinkiregister as unemployed job-seekers under the EURES employment service at the Helsinki Employment and Economic Development Office’s Kluuvi service point.
EU/EEA job-seekers who are unemployed in their own country must apply to the EURES counselling service at the Helsinki Employment and Economic Development Office’s Kluuvi service point as soon as they come to Finland. This is in order to secure entitlement to unemployment benefit (referring to job-seekers coming to Finland on the basis of Form 303 who are entitled to unemployment benefit in their own country). Those moving to Espoo, Vantaa or Kauniainen register at the city Employment and Economic Development Office for their respective area.
