Mikkeli Employment and Economic Development Office/TE office (Mikkelin työ- ja elinkeinotoimisto/TE-toimisto)

The Employment and Economic Development Office, also known as the TE office, serves both those at work and the unemployed.

The TE Office gives advice on how to apply for a job. You will also receive information about job vacancies, training, job training placements, employment subsidies, professions, and entrepreneurship.

Customers register as a job seeker at the TE office’s international services desk, where a plan for finding a job is drawn up together with the customer.

Where necessary, the customer is guided towards courses for studying Finnish, the vocational arts, or preparation for working life.

Counselling intended for immigrants is provided in Finnish and English. The Employment Office will provide an interpreter where necessary.
