Welcome to Kauniainen! 

Kauniainen is one of the four cities that form the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. It is located within the borders of the City of Espoo. Kauniainen is a city of villas and gardens, with a population of around 8,500. Of Kauniainen residents, 57% have Finnish as their mother tongue, while a little under 39% are Swedish-speaking, other languages accounting for the remaining 4%.
