Savonlinna Vocational College (SAMI) (Savonlinnan ammatti- ja aikuisopisto SAMI)
Savonlinna Vocational College organises labour market training in Finnish language skills. The training involves full-time study, and acts at the same time as integration training. Courses are intended for unemployed immigrants, and generally begin in August-September and in January.

Savonlinna Vocational College also organises self-motivated courses for immigrants in preparation for vocational education, with the emphasis on the Finnish language, as well as preparatory and rehabilitative teaching and guidance. Linnala College (Linnalan opisto)
Linnala College offers Finnish language study either as individual and pair tuition or as internet courses.

Upper Secondary School for Adults (Aikuislukio)
Finnish as a second language is taught as a subject at the Savonlinna Upper Secondary School for Adults (Savonlinnan aikuislukio). Students may choose to participate only in courses teaching Finnish.
