Multicultural local service centres
Various organisations arrange elementary and advanced Finnish language courses at the local service centres. In addition, local service centre employees run Finnish language conversation clubs and reading circles, as well as provide information on Finnish language teaching in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area.
Local service centres also organise group activity (food preparation, exercise, etc.). These groups, which are often free, involve learning Finnish through joint activity.

The Espoo Adult Education Centre (Espoon työväenopisto) organises Finnish language courses, integration training and physical education and exercise courses for immigrants.
Searches for courses can be conducted via the City of Espoo website in Finnish and Swedish. The Adult Education Centre website provides a comprehensive list of all courses intended for immigrants, together with study information, in English. Registration for courses is via the Internet or by telephone. Registration using the Internet must be made in Finnish or Swedish.
